Bec: I’ve always enjoyed my life, the adventures I’ve had, the businesses and people I’ve worked for but had a secret yearning that I could do more to create the life I really wanted to live, to do things differently and break free of the rules of conventional life that always frustrated me. Until recently I never had the courage or confidence to step out on my own, choosing instead to follow a well traveled path to success. I studied a Bachelor of Business and a Masters in Professional Education and Training and was Oceania Training Manager at Louis Vuitton from 2007-2011.
Bec: After having my second child the timing was right to leave and begin my own learning & development for retail consultancy called Retail on the Run which launched in 2012. I worked from home for a year, then in a creative studio for another year. [That’s when] I saw the opportunity for a boutique coworking studio that might cater for new and evolving solo entrepreneurs in creative and coaching fields, and help them get traction in their business by creating a collaborative community in an inspiring and supportive environment.
